Take it from us: the value of Ralph Lauren’s garage is worth the GDP of a small nation.

Instead of holding his New York Fashion Week show in the five boroughs, Lauren chauffeured VIPs out to his garage in Bedford, N.Y., to view his latest collection among his eye-popping collection of Bugattis, Bentleys, Ferraris and every other luxury car one could imagine.

The list of celebrity attendees included Lauren’s current muse and face of his newest fragrance Jessica Chastain, along with the actress he iconically dressed inAnnie Hall, Diane Keaton. Other A-listers included Katie Holmes (sans Jamie Foxx), Nina Dobrev, Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, Armie Hammer and Anna Wintour, among others.

On the runway, famous faces included Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid, who modeled billowing ball gowns in black/yellow and red, respectively. And while Kaia Gerber has been turning heads during her first fashion week, the 16-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber also has a model brother, Presley, who modeled at the show.

The show included Lauren’s women’s and men’s Purple Label looks, and since the garage setting of luxury cars screamed James Bond, the designer was more than happy to outfit his models to fit the theme, with plenty of grey tweed and leather trenches alongside racing stripes and bomber jackets over suits. And for female Bonds, Lauren interspersed slinky gowns and tulle skirts with suspenders, smoking jackets and other impeccably-tailored menswear-inspired looks.

Even the waiters were dapper, wearing matching Lauren-emblazoned jumpsuits, looking like a chic pit crew who’ve never stepped close to a Nascar race. At the end of the show, Lauren emerged in his own racing jumpsuit, hugging guests and waving to the crowd.

Unlike Rihanna’s motocross-crazy Fenty x Puma show, none of Lauren’s vintage motorcycles came to life during the show. Besides, did anyone really expect the designer to dirty his garage’s spotless carpets?
